Calling all St. Mary parents to volunteer their time on the Catholic School Council. Catholic School Council members have a special commitment to our school. They demonstrate enthusiasm, a desire to make a difference and a willingness to contribute in a meaningful way to strengthen the partnership between school, home and parish.
Nomination forms were sent home with every student on September 8th.
Successful candidates will hold their elected position for a term of one year and will be expected to attend the monthly meetings. Being a member of council provides parents with an opportunity to make recommendations to the school, the school board and interact with other parents and staff. No one is singularly responsible for decisions. A representation of parents who reflect the diversity of our school population is needed.

Communications of candidate’s names to the school community: September 25th, 2023
Election Day: September 27th at 6:45pm in the Library
First council meeting: September 27th at 7:15pm
