The Orange Shirt Day movement started in 2013 to highlight the pain and suffering of thousands of Indigenous children who were sent to residential school throughout the last century. The colour of the shirt is connected to the experience of Phyllis Webstad who was sent to Cariboo Residential School near Williams Lake, BC, in 1973.

We are happy to announce that St. Mary has launched “School-Day”, an online portal that allows parents/guardians to complete permission forms and make payments. School-Day can be accessed from any web browser and gives parents real-time, secure access to up-to-date information, and the ability to:
Transitions such as resuming school activities after a break can be challenging for some students. Hopefully these tips will empower students and parents alike to welcome a return to school and smoothly adjust to the changes in routines that back to school time brings.
Our girls and boys soccer teams have been tearing it up on the soccer field during the month of May. Between lunchtime practices and participation in area tournaments, these players have been showcasing great skill, teamwork, and fantastic sportsmanship to boot! We are so proud of both teams which made it to the finals of their local tournaments. Go Mustangs Go!

Catholic Education Week is May 2-6, 2022. The theme this year is Rebuild, Restore, Renew Together. The theme aligns nicely with our mental health theme at the school and our ShareLife fundraising campaign.
