Wear Purple for Rowan’s Law Day

Day of Truth and Reconciliation – Orange Shirt Day

The Orange Shirt Day movement started in 2013 to highlight the pain and suffering of thousands of Indigenous children who were sent to residential school throughout the last century. The colour of the shirt is connected to the experience of Phyllis Webstad who was sent to Cariboo Residential School near Williams Lake, BC, in 1973.

Transitions such as resuming school activities after a break can be challenging for some students.   The following return to school tip sheet can help parents support and uplift students through times of change.  Hopefully these tips will empower students and parents alike to welcome a return to school and smoothly adjust to the changes in routines that back to school time brings.

St. Mary Soccer Teams are Back on the Field!

Our girls and boys soccer teams have been tearing it up on the soccer field during the month of May.  Between lunchtime practices and participation in area tournaments, these players have been showcasing great skill, teamwork, and fantastic sportsmanship to boot!  We are so proud of both teams which made it to the finals of their local tournaments.   Go Mustangs Go!

Celebrating Catholic Education at St. Mary

Catholic Education Week is May 2-6, 2022. The theme this year is Rebuild, Restore, Renew Together.
